Roundtable Foundation Scholarship Awarded to Johns Hopkins Carey Business School Student

The Financial Services Roundtable today announced that Robert Jackson of the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School is the recipient of the 2010 Roundtable Financial Scholarship in honor of Donald J. Shepard, Retired Chairman, AEGON. Jackson currently serves as a Business Analyst and resides in Columbia, Maryland.

Established in February 2008, The Roundtable Financial Scholarship Foundation grants scholarships to students who wish to pursue careers in the financial services industry. Winners are selected based on equal parts scholarship, character, and financial need. The Honorary Chairmen of the Roundtable Financial Scholarship Foundation for 2010-2011 are Donald J. Shepard, AEGON, and Thomas A. Renyi, BNY Mellon Corporation.

“I have learned that excellence in character requires personal sacrifice, and success in business requires a decisive financial road map. The Roundtable Financial Scholarship will help expand my knowledge of healthcare finance, expose me to a wealth of resources, and be a catalyst to my future in finance,” said 2010 Roundtable Financial Scholar, Robert Jackson.
